Perry looking up to a new future with renewable energy

Combustible energy is technology from the Industrial Revolution.  Right now our country is nearly 200 years behind the times.  That is why Perry has been such a big supporter of renewable, non-combustible energies.

At this point, the choices are not only myriad but available.  The technology for clean, passive energy is already here and we need to start using it.  There are photo-electric "solar panels" in production and being used in homes and businesses all over America.  The new technology is solar cells that can be printed with metallic ink on paper or other surfaces for a fraction of the cost of solar panels now.  With printed solar units, they could be put virtually anywhere: on a house, on a car, on a bicycle, on your clothes, your hat, heck, even your dog!  With this new energy collection technology and the development of more efficient battery storage systems, large sectors of America could begin to pry themselves from pollution-laden combustion.

The new windmills are graceful as they turn slowly in a breeze, but at their size and gear ratio they are producing lots of electricity.  Businesses could put them around their sites, in the parking lots on the light poles!  Instead of wasting corn on ethanol, families of windmills could occupy corn fields and dairy meadows year round.  Windmill farms at sea is happening right now!  Already groups of these new contraptions are powering entire towns.

And there are other new ways to generate electricity.  Geothermal power heats with the temperature of the warm part of the earth, creating motion that produces energy.  Likewise, any movement of water may be harnessed to do the same job.  Waterfalls, of course, but also wave action.
And there's microwave energy that may be gathered from the sun by satellite and redirected toward collectors here on the planet's surface.

Dirty old camel head

It's time to get off that dirty old oil camel.  The technology is here now.  Let's use it!
