Thinking Beyond One Species

Mother Earth is Suffering

The environment in this country has been exploited and misused by the human population residing in America.  Their constant need for excess has put some species right into extinction.  If they are allowed to continue in this manner, the only voting citizens left in America in fifty years will be the cockroaches.

With the rest of us gone, cockroaches will rule the earth

When America was discovered, it was a land of plenty.  Lobsters were often trapped that weighed twenty five pounds.  Buffalo roamed the Great Plains in herds which spread from horizon to horizon.  Birds and game were plentiful and man existed as part of the environment.  Unfortunately, the King James translation of the bible uses the word "dominion" instead of "stewardship" when it talks about God giving the Earth to man.  The human species takes that to mean exploitation.

Thick forests once covered large portions of America

I think it's time for a less species-centric view of America and her environment.  No more should logging continue at the expense of all the creatures who make their home in the forests.  No more should strip-mining be allowed to waste vegetation and pollute streams and ground water.  No more should reckless companies be allowed to dump unwanted hazardous waste out in the middle of nowhere.  For land's sakes, the humans are killing ONE ANOTHER with the pollution!  What chance do WE have?

Many creatures are becoming extinct

Making the break from combustible fuels (oil, coal, wood) will go a long way towards preserving our environment.  Likewise this initiative will contribute to the pull back on global warming.  Homes may be built of so many materials that willy-nilly, land-stripping deforestation should slow.  Hey, only God can make a tree, right?  And they make the oxygen we breathe.  What do you want to do, live in a bell jar?

Humans feel they have the right to take and take and take.  Well, God made us too, you know.  He didn't put us here to be slaughtered for the sake of human greed.  You guys have not been doing your job and may just have the whole house of cards falling down around our fuzzy little ears in the next twenty years.  It's time for us to have a chance.  We don't need all the "stuff" you humans seem to.  We can halt global warming in five years.

And don't even TALK to me about cow farts.

Fringe scientists claim cows' methane emissions contribute significantly to global warming
